If the value of the property is less than $5,000, then an appraisal is not required and the IRS allows you to determine the fair market value of the property based on what it would sell for on the open market.
When will I receive my tax receipt?
Once the transfer of ownership has been confirmed, you can expect to receive your receipt within 24 hours.
